Galileo Olimp Resort & Residences is a mixed-use development located in the resort town of Olimp, designed as an aparthotel-operated residential complex complemented by commercial and leisure amenities.
The main objective was to recover delays in the construction schedule and deliver a complete and coordinated documentation package for site execution.
The key challenges included delivering the technical design documentation within a very limited timeframe, coordinating a project with a high degree of technical and functional complexity, integrating and reorganizing the existing multidisciplinary team, as well as rapidly identifying and resolving inconsistencies between the architectural concept, permitting documentation, and actual construction requirements.
The project includes more than 160 accommodation units, ranging from studios to premium apartments exceeding 150 sqm, complemented by restaurants, retail spaces, a swimming pool and pool bar area, as well as an event venue located on the top floor.
Special attention was given to the relationship between the building and the public realm through the development of an esplanade area that extends pedestrian circulation and connects the complex’s functions with the surrounding urban environment and the seaside.
Through SSAT’s involvement, the project was fully coordinated and completed at the level of technical design and construction detailing, and successfully delivered for implementation. The collaboration was positively appreciated by the client, both for SSAT’s ability to coordinate and deliver within an accelerated schedule and for effectively managing the project’s technical complexity.
