Preserved brick vaults, Industrial, Polished surfaces

The wine bar is shaped by a strong dialogue between historic materiality and contemporary precision. Exposed brick vaults give the interior a cellar-like gravity, while raw plaster walls, dark metal details, and visible ducts keep the atmosphere deliberately restrained and industrial.

The wine storage is treated not as background, but as architecture: illuminated bottle grids wrap the walls like a luminous catalogue, turning the collection into the main decorative element.

The design balances intimacy and drama. Warm timber tables and bentwood chairs soften the heavy masonry, while low pendant lights create a controlled, almost theatrical rhythm across the dining area. The bar introduces a more polished layer, with stone, brass-toned surfaces, glassware, and integrated lighting adding refinement without breaking the underground character of the space. The black spiral stair and the darker tasting room deepen the sense of descent, ritual, and discovery.
